Thank you to Bunnings in Sale for donating eight small plastic buckets that will sit under our drink taps. They will catch any excess water which will be poured onto trees in our schoolyard. Bunnings has also donated three large white buckets that will be used during playtime and lunchtime for students to put their food scraps into. The food scraps will then be added to our compost and worm farms.

Our aim is to be a rubbish free school by the start of Term 3. That means all rubbish that is brought to school will need to go home. The reason for this is to educate students on the importance of looking after our environment, to save our school money to be reinvested back into the school and to improve our local environment.

The winners of our rubbish free challenge were McCubbin, the remainder of the results were:
