On Thursday 24 May, six students; Sophie Sewell, George Lancaster, Lucy Deller, Priyanka Joshi, Lachlan Wilmot and William Mawgiru; travelled to Phillip Island to compete in the SEISA Cross Country event along with students from the Garnsey and St Anne’s campuses. It was a wonderful day with pleasing results from the Bairnsdale Campus students and all the Gippsland Grammar team as a whole. The under 12 girls team finished 2nd overall. The Under 13 girls won their section. Gippsland Grammar won the day overall.

On Thursday 23 May, everyone that qualified to compete in the S.E.I.S.A Cross Country got on the bus and travelled all the way to Phillip Island. The children that qualified from the Bairnsdale Campus were George Lancaster, Lachlan Wilmot, Lucy Deller, Priyanka Joshi, William Mwagiru and Sophie Sewell. George and Lucy came 2nd, Lachlan came 7th, Priyanka came 17th, William came 20th and Sophie came 5th. It was a fantastic and fun day.
