Farewell to our 2012-12 Gappies
Time has flown far too quickly, it’s hard to believe that the season is over and this season's Gappies will be on their way home on Friday. This year’s group have been exceptional. There are many things that need to happen for a boat club to operate smoothly which largely go unseen. Emily Foster, Lewis van Diggele and Dave Marsh have all done an excellent job and the success of this season has in no small way been as a result of these efforts. I know that our rowers will acknowledge their appreciation of these efforts at the Annual Rowing Dinner this evening. However, I would like to thank them most sincerely and wish them all the very best for their futures. I do hope that we might catch up with them again at some point.

Jackson Harrison GG2011 has been named in a squad of five lightweight scullers who will compete for inclusion in the 2013 Australian Under 23 team.  Our congratulations go to Jackson and our best wishes in his endeavour.
