Urgent need for host families

During the holidays, the new Japanese teaching assistant and the exchange student from Hikarigaoka Girls High School will be arriving and, so far, no families have offered to host them.

The benefits of hosting to students studying Japanese are immense.  There is an opportunity to have help with your homework and your assignments, as well as to refine your speaking and listening skills.  Then benefits to other members of the host family are also considerable.  You will make a lifelong friend of someone who will enhance your understanding and appreciation of Japanese culture. 

If you are willing to open your home to one of these young ladies, I would be delighted to hear from you during the holidays.  You do not have to host for the whole year; a shorter time is certainly negotiable.
